Job Description

A nurses main role is patient care and to provide a hospital experience confortable for the patient. Although a nurses main role is to care for the patient their other daily activities may vary depending on the unit they work on. For example a rehabilitation unit may have patients who require more help then a woman on the maternity unit for example. Basic jobs nurses do are give medication, tend to the patients needs, chart and keep in contact with the doctor, make beds, do vitals, and perform procedures such as wound care.
